The 41st edition of Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair (Spring), organized by Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), is all set to open gates tomorrow at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, India.
With more than 2,820 exhibitors including permanent marts, 2000+ products in 14 product categories, 300+ trend-specific design developments, the four-day event is being organized on the same lines of the fair’s Autumn edition, in terms of presentation, concept and theme, said Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director – EPCH.

The show, to be inaugurated by Rashmi Verma, Secretary (Textiles), Ministry of Textiles, will feature products and innovations in segments like houseware, home furnishing, furniture, gifts & decorative, Charismas & festive décor, carpets and rugs, fashion jeweler & accessories, leather bags, etc. The quality is such that it caters to the all segments of consumers whether top-end, middle-end or bottom-end.
As per the press release, the IHGF has become ‘One-stop Sourcing Destination’ for major international brands such as Bloomingdales, Macy’s, K-Mart, Wallmart, Pier 1, M&S, Woolworth, Karstadt, Peek and Cloppen Berg, Carrefour, and many more. The upcoming edition will also feature special highlights of series of seminars, ramp shows, live crafts demonstration, cultural shows elaborated, setting up of e-hubs and visit of domestic retail volume buyers.
EPCH is expecting more than 5,000 foreign volume buyers from departmental/chain stores, wholesaler, distributors and major International brands. The volume buyers will come not only from existing markets of handicrafts in American and European continents but also from the emerging markets in the Asian continent like China, South East Asia, Central Asia Region and Africa and Latin American region.
