
Vietnam-based manufacturer, Hòa Tho Garment and Textile Co. Ltd., is planning to expand its market into the provinces of Xekong and Attapue in southern Laos.
During a visit by ASEAN journalists to Hoa Tho garment factory based in Da Nang City, Vietnam, last week, General Director Hoa Tho Textile-Garment Joint Stock Corporation, Nguyen Duc Tri reportedly revealed the company’s plans, “The decision was made following a market survey of the provinces of Xekong and Attapue that was made last month. The expansion of our markets into Laos and Cambodia is set to be achieved over the next few years from now through 2020.”

Founded in 1962, Hoa Tho is among the well-established and large-scale textile-garment enterprises in Vietnam that offers a diversified portfolio covering products such as suits, pants, jackets, work wear and others with good quality and trendy designs. Hoa Tho’s products, 90 per cent of which goes to the foreign markets, have a distinct reputation in markets such as the USA, Europe, Japan and South Korea. The company imports raw materials from the USA, Egypt and Asia.
