
According to Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM), Turkey’s exports to Russia has plunged by 14.6 per cent, dropping to US $ 6.57 billion in 2014 compared to US $ 7.96 billion in 2013 due to the decrease in the value of the rubble. Exports of ready-made garments to Russia, which had increased to US $ 413 million in 2013, dropped to nearly US $ 351 million in 2014, a decrease of 15.02 per cent. Moreover, exports of leather products plunged by 24.52 per cent, thereby reaching US $ 410 million.
