Jahangir Kabir Nanak, the Minister of Textiles and Jute, announced his commitment to establishing a smart Textiles and Jute Sector in Bangladesh.
Speaking during a courtesy meeting with senior ministry officials at his Dhanmondi residence, Nanak emphasised the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive plan for the development of an advanced textiles and jute industry.
Nanak underscored that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the modernisation initiatives will leverage new innovations within the jute and textile sector, aligning with the goals outlined in “Vision 2041.”
He expressed unwavering dedication to expanding the nation’s investments, fostering skilled human resources, generating employment opportunities, and boosting exports.
During the meeting, Textile and Jute Secretary Abdur Rouf and other senior ministry officials were in attendance, collectively signaling a collaborative effort towards the envisioned transformation of the textiles and jute sector in Bangladesh.
