Bangladesh’s apex garment makers’ body, BGMEA, has called upon the Biman Bangladesh Airlines to improve its air cargo handling services at the Capital Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport so as to facilitate apparel exports.
Faruque Hassan, the President of BGMEA, has, reportedly, made this request to Dr. Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal, the CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, when he visited Abu Saleh’s office recently.
The BGMEA President was joined by the BGMEA Vice-President Md. Shahidullah Azim, former Director Md. Ashikur Rahman (Tuhin) and Director Tanvir Ahmed during his meeting with the CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines even as they also visited the cargo village at the airport to take stock of the current cargo handling service situation.
