They may be small, but they are growing and increasingly investing in technology. Though, they are not big exporters but these small companies are definitely a big support for the exporters, and many famous brands are being manufactured in their factories. Interestingly, small manufacturers and job workers across India are expanding in existing as well as into new segments.
Indore-based Papcon Indore, working for top brands of India is now expanding and willing to add near about 400 stitching machines. SMG Posh True Enterprises, Sirsa (Haryana) doing awesome with online portal with its 100 machines is in the process to install CAD. 17 years old and known for his tees, Space Fashions, Ludhiana is also adding 100 stitching machines. Offering screen printing job work, Mumbai-based Riddhi Print is now installing digital printer (sublimation). GS Fashion, a Delhi-based fabricator (both basic as well as value-added kind of stitching) and having 100 stitching machines, is now adding job work for jeans also and will install machines as per the need. Having 13 multi-head embroidery machines in Varanasi totally for job work, Shree Shyam Craft is also adding more embroidery machines.
Message is clear… most of the industries even at bottom level are positive and growing.
