
The Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL), which is a Government-owned manpower export company located in the capital Dhaka is all set to send around 55 apparel workers from the country to the Southeast Europe nation of Bulgaria at Government expense even as the labour market in Europe is opening for the readymade garment workers from Bangladesh, the first of its kind development ever.
This is as per media reports, which cited the concerned BOESL official in this regard.
Speaking to the pressmen recently, BOESL Managing Director Mallik Anwar Hossain reportedly claimed processing of the Visa was undergoing for the 55 apparel workers, who will be travelling to Bulgaria even as he went on to add employment opportunities will now be created for Bangladesh apparel garment workers in the European Union countries.
Meanwhile, Director General of Manpower of Employment and Training Bureau (BMET), Shahidul Alam reportedly underlined a special action plan has been taken to make sure gainful employment of apparel workers from Bangladesh in Europe.
