Electronics For Imaging (EFI), a world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, has revealed its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2016.
In the period under review, the company reported record second quarter revenue of US $ 245.7 million, up 21 per cent compared to US $ 202.7 million of same period last year. Its GAAP net income stood at US $ 5.2 million as against US $ 7.7 million in the quarter of 2015. Non-GAAP net income was US $ 26.7 million compared to US $ 22.9 million last year.

Additionally, for the six months ended June 30, 2016, EFI’s revenue stood at US $ 479.8 million, up 21 per cent year-over-year compared to US $ 397.3 million for the same period last year. GAAP net income was US $ 7.3 million versus US $ 13 million in the same period of 2015. Non-GAAP net income was US $ 52.9 million compared to US $ 44.4 million in the first six months of 2015.
Commenting on the results, Guy Gecht, CEO of EFI averred, “The EFI team delivered a solid quarter despite the disruption caused by global events during the last week of the quarter,” adding, “At the same time, EFI’s market position at the Drupa tradeshow validated both our strategy and product roadmap, and we’re particularly encouraged by the exceptional reception to our new Nozomi platform. The Drupa momentum is feeding into the strength we are seeing in the Industrial Inkjet and Productivity Software segments which keep us on track to deliver our stated goal of US $ 1 billion in revenues for the year.”
