Sales of the Israeli textile firm Delta Galil, known for intimate wear are expected to exceed the US $1 billion mark by the end of the year. It ended its first half with a turnover of US $ 487 million, up 6 per cent compared to the first half of 2013. Projections for the full year are optimistic as they see the company exceeding US $1 billion in sales, an increase of 7 to 10 per cent. Its management has welcomed the persistent growth and plans to continue to expand its main markets, namely Israel and Germany and the US especially. It is also pleased with having strengthened its branded business in recent years.
