In a move to support import and export activities, the National Board of Revenue (NBR) announced on Wednesday that all customs houses and stations will operate every day, with the exception of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The NBR’s decision reflects its commitment to facilitating trade, particularly in light of a request made by garment exporters on 13th March for uninterrupted customs services to ensure smooth shipments.
From 28th March to 5th April, customs operations will continue on a limited scale during public and weekly holidays, as outlined in the order issued by the NBR. The initiative aims to enhance efficiency in the trading process during this period.
