
Brazil is trying to increase its cotton export to Bangladesh to expand global market even as two trade bodies from the south American nation, namely Brazilian Cotton Growers Association (ABRAPA) and Brazilian Cotton Exporters Association (ANES), are exploring trade opportunities in Bangladesh, especially its cotton market while a Brazilian business mission is scheduled to visit Bangladesh on 12-15 June to find possibilities on how to increase cotton exports to Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, as per the Bangladesh Embassy in Brazil, members of the visiting trade delegation are all set to visit different spinning mills in Bangladesh and meet with officials of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), Cotton Development Board, Ministry of Industries, Noman Group, ISRAQ Group, Viyellatex Group, MAS Group, NRG Group, Syed Group and Salma Group.
