Finance Ministry and Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on skill development. According to the agreement, a total of 43,800 operators and mid-level managers will receive training in three years under the “Skill for Employment Investment Program” (SEIP) funded by Asian Development Bank. BGMEA VP – Finance Reaz Bin Mahmood and Jalal Ahmed, Additional Secretary and National Project Director, Finance Division, the Ministry of Finance, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations at the conference room of the ministry.
