
In an effort to boost export of jute and its products to Iran and Turkey, the Government of Bangladesh has decided to send a business delegation to Turkey and Iran, to be led by Textile and Jute Ministry officials, including representatives from amongst jute and jute goods exporters.
“A delegation will visit Iran and Turkey within short time as there is huge export potential in the markets,” Commerce Secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamoon avers. Earlier in September, Export Promotion Bureau Vice-Chairman Shubhashish Bose reportedly proposed to send a trade delegation to Iran and Turkey in this regard.
