Buyers coming back, says VP-Finance, BGMEA

Overcoming security concerns that had gripped the country in the aftermath of the recent killing of two foreigners – a Japanese and a French national, many buyers of readymade garments have started coming back to Bangladesh while some others preferring to meet outside the country for negotiations. “Many buyers are coming to Bangladesh, but few others still prefer meeting abroad,” said Mohammed Nasi, VP-Finance, BGMEA. He added that there has been ‘exaggeration’ over travel advisories by various foreign countries in the wake of the recent murders.
