Bangladesh’s Ananta Group is receiving US $ 13.8 million in a loan from the French Development Finance Institution Proparco for capacity expansion.
Reports claimed this adding subsidiary of Ananta Group, Ananta Huaxiang Limited, received the said amount from the French lender for expansion of production facilities even as the loan will help Ananta to emerge as a large volume sweater manufacturer and strengthen its competitiveness in the global market.
Speaking to the media, Regional Director (South Asia) of Proparco Diane Jegam, reportedly, said Ananta is committed to the well-being of its employees, women empowerment and sustainable use of resources while adding this support from Proparco to Ananta will strengthen the largest exporting sector of Bangladesh.
