Bangladesh’s apex garment makers’ body, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), held its 38th annual general meeting (AGM) recently.
As per reports, the 38th AGM was held at the Uttara-based BGMEA Complex in capital Dhaka.
Participating in the same, BGMEA President Faruque Hassan, reportedly, sought cooperation and support from all to achieve a safe, sustainable and prosperous apparel industry and said that the achievements and glory of the readymade garment industry have been built on years of hard works and dedication of workers and entrepreneurs while underlining the incumbent board of directors of BGMEA was determined to leave no stone unturned to take the industry to new heights of glory.
BGMEA Vice-Presidents Md. Nasir Uddin, Shahidullah Azim, Rakibul Alam Chowdhury and Khandoker Rafiqul Islam, and, amongst others were, reportedly, present at the meeting chaired by the BGMEA President.
