The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) will host a Textile Testing Workshop from 3 to 4, 2014 at the AATCC headquarters in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, United States. The workshop has been designed specifically for textile industry professionals who take care of product assessment, specifications, and quality control for apparel and textile materials. Attendees will get to know about interpreting test results for approximately 20 colourfastness and physical properties testing methods. Colourfastness tests will also include crocking, light, washing, and perspiration. Application of AATCC Gray Scales for Staining and Colour Change, the AATCC Chromatic Transference Scale, and the Xenon Reference Fabric will too be the significant parts of the workshop.
