One of Sri Lanka’s largest apparel and textile conglomerate Brandix Group will continue deploying additional licenses from VMware, a US based cloud and virtualization services provider. Brandix Lanka has been using VMware virtualization solutions for over five years. According to a release on VMware’s website, Brandix will implement additional licenses of VMware vSphere, the virtualization suite, and VMware vCenterTM Site Recovery Manager for disaster recovery, reducing the capital and operational costs along with lead time reduction. “Brandix has identified IT as a key enabler of the business. We strive to optimize our processes, infrastructure and services to enable our IT services and operations to be on par with the world’s best,” said Manoj Pilimatalawwe, Head, Group Information and Communication Technology, Brandix.
