With 56 of the 100 LEED-certified green factories in the world located here, Bangladesh is positioned as a leader in the global sustainable fashion movement, according to BGMEA.
According to BGMEA data, this comprises 18 out of the top 20 and 9 out of the top 10 LEED-certified factories worldwide.
The RMG industry’s broad commitment to sustainability is demonstrated by the regional distribution of these certifications inside Bangladesh.
