
Tasneem Tayeb has been promoted to Head of Environmental Compliance & Sustainability at Coats South Asia, marking a major milestone in her professional journey and reinforcing the company’s growing focus on responsible business practices across the region.
With a proven track record in driving sustainability programmes and ensuring regulatory compliance, Tayeb has played a crucial role in strengthening Coats Bangladesh’s environmental frameworks over the past several years. Her leadership has been instrumental in implementing cleaner production processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration on environmental audits, and embedding sustainable thinking into daily operations.
In her new regional role, she will lead strategic sustainability initiatives and oversee adherence to environmental regulations across Coats’ South Asian operations, including key markets such as Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka. Tayeb is widely recognised for her passion for creating resilient, forward-looking sustainability roadmaps that align with both global standards and local requirements.
