PrimaDollar signs agreements with 4 factory groups in Bangladesh to pilot new ‘Factory Social Score’ system: Reports

PrimaDollar, supported by its Dhaka team and Bangladesh liaison office, has inked deals with four factory groups in the country (Bangladesh) to pilot the new “Factory Social Score” system.

Media reports maintained this adding the Factory Social Score system is a global solution to monitor social and governance performance of workplaces, part of the global initiative to improve Environmental, Social and Governance matters or ESG, and has been designed in London and Bangladesh even as the factory groups that signed the agreements with PrimaDollar, reportedly, employ over 2,000 workers.

“…we have carefully designed the worker app and factory social score system so that it is acceptable and useful for factory owners…,”reportedly, maintained Group CEO of PrimaDollar Tim Nicolle from London.

The four groups which joined the pilot launch of Factory Social Score are namely Bengal Knittex Ltd., Climax Garb Ltd., Zoom Sweaters Ltd. and Alib Composite Ltd.
