Always at the forefront of choosing the right and the most suitable products for a wide range of applications in the apparel and textile industry, Janaksons International has added another small but key product, a range of energy-efficient industrial lighting systems from the Japanese pioneer Amano to its product portfolio. “People in the industry are now getting more and more conscious about the environment in which they are operating and are looking for more sustainable solutions for lightning based on the lux, lumen and energy saving aspect, while keeping an eye on the price,” says Vaibhav Behl, Vice President, Janaksons International, who is the sole agent for the LED lights from Amano Japan, which include a range of overhead lights, bulbs, tube lights and halide lamps.
The benefits of LED lighting systems can be fathomed by the fact that a 40W LED tube light can replace a 240W CFL Lamp, while promising a greater lux and three times longer operating life of 50,000 hours. “Our tube lights are covered with aluminium on the back side which prevents energy dissipation and undue reflectance to the surroundings,” informs Vaibhav. Another highlight of the tube lights is that they can be rotated to adjust the focus in case of a change of position in the workplace without having to move or shift the lights, while maintaining the lux requirements of the workplace.
The company claims that the focus is not on selling lights, but rather giving a complete solution to the industry. “The lights might be standard in terms of the specifications but with the DaiLux plan and Lux requirements, we actually prepare a customized lighting plan for a company, tailor-made to the industry need,” explains Vaibhav. Due to such an approach the price of the LED lighting equipment which is higher than regular lighting equipment, proves to be cost-efficient in the longer run due to longer life and lower energy consumption.
