GoBlu, a chemical management firm, and Centrocot, a testing company, have joined forces to promote full chemical transparency in Italy’s fashion supply chain.
This partnership combines Centrocot’s specialised testing, verification, certification, and training services with GoBlu’s digital platform, BHive. The collaboration aims to facilitate the adoption and management of sustainable chemical products, fostering chemical transparency and sustainability in Italy’s fashion sector.
Grazia Cerini, CEO of Centrocot, emphasises the significance of this partnership for their customers, enabling them to manage verified chemical products within the BHive platform. The collaboration provides comprehensive services, leveraging Centrocot’s chemical expertise and GoBlu’s IT innovation and chemical management background.
Lars Doemer, Managing Director of GoBlu, envisions BHive becoming a leading chemical management solution for Italian stakeholders in the textile and fashion industry. With Centrocot’s expertise and certification services, Italian customers can access resources to achieve complete transparency in their supply chain.
Both GoBlu and Centrocot have established partnerships with Oeko-Tex, certifying non-hazardous end-products and their components. Centrocot is one of the 17 institutes worldwide authorised to issue various Oeko-Tex certifications, showcasing their commitment to industry standards.
GoBlu’s collaboration with Oeko-Tex has led to significant achievements, including the integration of BHive into Oeko-Tex STeP Certification, enhancing their chemical management initiatives.
