
Italian shoe brand ACBC, known for its modular and sustainable sneakers, has teamed up with RTG Consulting Group to expand into Asia. This partnership aims to help fashion companies in Asia adopt eco-friendly practices, reflecting ACBC’s commitment to sustainability.
ACBC announced a strategic partnership offering eco-advisory services to RTG’s clients in Singapore, Shanghai, and Paris. CEO Gioacchino Giacobbe highlighted Asia’s key role in fashion manufacturing and its readiness for sustainable practices. He emphasised that Italy, with its 62,000 fashion enterprises, must enhance certifications and reduce impact.
ACBC, reported € 15 million in 2023 sales, with a 55 per cent increase in EBITDA. The company’s business model includes consulting (50 per cent), third-party manufacturing (45 per cent), and its innovative shoe brand (5 per cent).
Since its start in 2018, ACBC has collaborated with high-profile brands like Emporio Armani’s EA7 line and Moschino. It has partnered with about 100 labels, including Chloé, Missoni, and Diadora, to create special collections. ACBC became a B Corp-certified company in 2021 and aims to be a Circular Science Company.
This new partnership with RTG Consulting Group will help ACBC in leveraging the region’s importance in fashion manufacturing and its growing openness to sustainability.
