
Abercrombie & Fitch Co., a global retailer of casual luxury apparel and accessories under the Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister and Abercrombie Kids brands, has announced the receiving of a perfect score of 100 per cent on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) for the 11th consecutive year.
Commenting upon the achievement, John Gabrielli, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. said, “We are committed to embracing an inclusive and diverse environment for our associates and customers at each of our brands. For us, diversity is about cultivating and strengthening an inclusive culture and being an outstanding company to both work for and do business with.”
CEI is a national benchmarking survey which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community and administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

It may be noted that the company has achieved this top rating since 2006. It offers a number of programmes and initiatives that showcase their focus on diversity, inclusion, and respect, including comprehensive domestic partner benefits and transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, diversity and inclusion training programs for all associates and equal opportunity non-discrimination policy that covers sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.
