Textile mills in Surat will remain closed today as a public meeting is being organized in Ahmedabad. The Surat wing of Patidar Anamat Andolan Committee (PAAC), which has taken the responsibility to bring people from Surat to Ahmedabad to participate in the rally have asked textile (powerloom) factory owners to keep their factories closed and participate in the rally along with their Patidar employees.
All the trading and manufacturing activities are likely to remain temporarily ceased for today in the city.
