Square Textiles is planning to increase its yarn production capacity with an estimated investment of US $ 14.6 million. The export-oriented company that at present produces 21,600 tonnes of yarn per year, will be able to produce another 4,235 tonnes, post the completion of the new project next year. Square Textiles is expecting a surge of US $ 15.3 million in turnover from the additional capacity. Currently the company has three facilities – Unit 1 having 36,288 spindles; Unit 2 with 23,184 spindles; and Unit 3 with 3,192 open end head machines.
