Pertex, a leading technical fabric brand known for its lightweight and highly-durable performance fabrics, has been awarded the Outdoor Writers Guild Derryck Draper Award 2016 for its CS10 technology.
“We are extremely delighted to receive the Derryck Draper Award, in particular, since we were awarded the very first Derryck Draper Crystal Award for our Pertex Equilibrium back in 1999,” commented Steve Laycock, Brand Manager, Pertex.
Pertex fabrics with CS10 technology use yarns with unique diamond shaped filaments, which lock together to provide a very stable construction. These tightly interlocking filaments give the fabrics superb abrasion resistance along with improved water beading properties. Along with high durability, these fabrics are exceptionally soft to the touch, down proof, and lend a beautiful sheen to the garment.
