One can call it a change in strategy or the routine of business but it is really interesting how after working with one particular buyer for more than two decades, Paras Fashion, Jaipur is now exploring options to add new buyers and also succeeding in the same. Doing majorly for Japan, the company has capacity of producing 2,000 pieces per day with a strong hold on knitted garments for ladies with little capacity for kidswear also. Ravi Kumar Jain, Chief Executive of the company informed Apparel Online that increasing competition forced them to search for new buyers and recently they have added one new buyer from Japan. To continue this exercise, the company will participate in Japan-based fairs over the next year. Main buyer of the company is a wholesaler and the new one is also the same. Established in 1991, Paras Fashion has a starting range FOB US $ 3-4 and offers high-end garments also. The company is expecting 10-15 per cent growth this year but is hopeful of 25-30 per cent growth later as it is expecting new buyers and improved market conditions.
