
HeiQ, Swiss-based textile effects company, has launched a new service that assists brands with fabric innovation and allows them to transform product concepts into reality.
With the innovative lab, HeiQ takes a brand’s product idea and applies its expertise in fibre, yarn, fabric solutions, chemical technology along with the knowledge and sourcing partners so as to develop the brand partner’s future functional fabric.
In addition to this, the lab also offers additional services like fabric trend research, seminars for the employees based on product marketing and materials education.
Lab intends to help brands across the board not only tackle issues from supplier selection to technical challenges but also material testing and finalising fabric agreements.

Also with over 25 years of experience working inside and with major sports apparel brands from concepts to final products, we are highly knowledgeable in functional materials from base layers to outerwear.”
It is worth noting that lately HeiQ launched a new radiant barrier technology on high-performance fabrics that allows outerwear to offer high levels of warmth while reducing bulk by as much as 50 per cent.
