STINGBye, a Spanish textile company, after four years of research, has come up with a shirt that can repel mosquitoes and other insects such as mites, ticks, lice, and bedbugs. It contains a repellant called Permethrin, which is added to the completed garment, and stays up to 100 washes. With an efficiency rate of 94 per cent, the shirt has been certified by Sanitize, the leading Swiss company in antimicrobial hygiene solutions. It does not have any odor and has soft touch for children as well as adults.
STINGBye introduced this shirt in Spanish market in June, with availability across 80 pharmacies in Spain, and the company plans to start exporting the product from next year September onwards.
