The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO) in collaboration with FICCI, with support from Ministry of Textiles, will be organizing the fourth edition of the international textile fair ‘VASTRA’ in Jaipur from September 28-30. With 250 exhibitors, 400 overseas buyers and 60 Indian buying houses, expected to attend the fair, it aims to provide a platform for forming new business relations, global partnerships, and opportunities for setting up businesses in India. The fair will help in projecting India as a major sourcing hub and investment destination for foreign buyers from countries like Algeria, Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan and the UK.
Last year, ‘VASTRA’ had generated a business worth US $ 85 million.
