It is good to see that digital printing is growing by leaps and bounds. One more exporter of Jaipur, Mayfair Styles, is planning to invest in digital printing as currently the company is outsourcing it. Carrying forward a 3.5 decades old family business, Rajesh Sharma, Director of the company told Apparel Online, “From last four months we are outsourcing digital prints for our US and UK-based buyers and now we are thinking to do it in-house. We are hopeful that in next 4 months we will install a digital printer with an investment of almost Rs. 1 crore. Though investment is heavy, we are expecting that digital print will remain in fashion, so the investment is for the future. In-house printing will help us in better control over quality and cost.” Having 200 stitching machines, the company is completely into women’s wear and its range of products starts from US $ 5 and goes up to US $ 14. Commenting on the current business scenario and further order booking, Rajesh shares that they are in the process of sampling and things will be clearer in the next one month as they are very positive.
