Jean-Daniel Gatignol is the new MD of Carrefour Global Sourcing. Carrefour is a France-based company with around 11,900 stores in France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Brazil and Argentina, among others.
Carrefour Global Sourcing manages sourcing for these stores and it has 500 collaborators from 20 different nationalities operating from 9 office locations globally including Delhi.
The company sources variety of products in textile and lifestyle segments.
With an experience of around 2 decades in retail, product development and sourcing, Jean-Daniel Gatignol was working previously as a Senior Vice President, “R” Consumer Brands (Tru Kids Brands).
The company announced, “We are happy to welcome Jean-Daniel on board and have him lead us to our next chapter of growth and continued performance. We are all convinced that, with Jean-Daniel’s key strength in retail expertise and global operations management, he will successfully lead us in these challenging and uncertain times.”
