
Coolcore LLC, a manufacturer of thermoregulation fabrics, has announced that it has acquired all of Tempnology’s assets and intellectual property.
Tempnology had developed a unique fabric that helps regulate the body temperature of the person wearing it. Its primary efforts consist of sublimation, printing and life-improving innovations through advanced technology for temperature regulation.
Tempnology had filed for bankruptcy on September 1, 2015. Now, with Coolcore LLC taking over all its assets, the company’s staff will be retained by Coolcore. Besides, fresh staff will also be hired in 2016.
Mark Stebbins, the lead investor at Coolcore LLC said, “It is a new beginning for our industry-leading material innovation company. We’re thrilled to provide financial support that will propel Coolcore into its next phase of growth.”
Coolcore was awarded the ‘Best Innovation – Sports and Outdoor Apparel’ for its patented line of cooling fabrics at ITMA. In addition to the award for “Best Innovation”, Coolcore was named a finalist in the ‘Ground-breaking Partnership’ category for its collaboration marketing launch programs.
Coolcore fabric formulations have the credit of being the only global formulation to receive a prestigious ‘Innovative Technology’ award from the Hohenstein Institute. These award-winning fabrics are supported by two current patents and several other pending ones.

Coolcore LLC has managed to obtain several partnerships with global consumer brands such as Brooks, Cabelas, Disney, and Imperial Headwear to develop and commercialize thermoregulation performance fabrics. In addition, Coolcore LLC supplies several global distribution partners, which sell finished goods like towels, medical wraps and sports medicine products under the brand name Coolcore and Dr. Cool brand.
