Zalando has introduced ZEOS Fulfillment, a solution that enables affiliated brands and retailers to efficiently manage their logistics through a unified interface. According to a statement from the company, this strategic step by the German online fashion juggernaut opens the door to the vast European market.
Since the inception of ZEOS, short for Zalando E-commerce Operating System, Zalando has painstakingly improved this service, putting it through rigorous testing before progressively introducing it to a wide range of markets and sales channels, including well-known European e-commerce platforms.
Over 30 brands and retailers are currently making use of this service, including the AWWG Group’s Pepe Jeans and the Polish footwear and accessory company Kazar. Brands and merchants who choose this service only need to ship their goods to one of Zalando’s 12 warehouses.
ZEOS will enable Spanish brands to quickly expand their presence across Europe, according to Riccardo Vola, managing director of Zalando for Italy and Spain. This will enable them to “reach millions of customers through other marketplaces and through their e-commerce platforms.”
