Wrogn, the men’s apparel brand backed by Accel and cricketer Virat Kohli, reported a significant decline in its revenue for the fiscal year ending March 2024. Revenues dropped by over 29 per cent, falling to Rs. 243.75 crore from Rs. 344.3 crore in FY ’23. The brand’s losses also increased by 28.2 per cent, amounting to nearly Rs. 57 crore during the same period.
In June 2024, Wrogn raised Rs. 125 crore (US $ 15 million) from Aditya Birla Group’s TMRW House of Brands. Since its launch in 2014, the brand has secured approximately US $ 90 million in funding from notable investors like Accel, Flipkart, Virat Kohli, and Sachin Tendulkar. Flipkart also made an undisclosed investment during the Series F funding round in November 2020.
In addition to its revenue from operations, Wrogn generated Rs. 21 crore from interest and financial asset gains, bringing its total income for FY ’24 to Rs. 264.8 crore. The brand continues to target men aged 18-30 through its range of casual clothing, footwear, and accessories, operating across both online and offline retail platforms.
