The handbag market has grown quite a lot. While there are many options that are very functional, most of them come with a hefty price tag.
Wool & Oak aims to solve this problem by introducing ‘The All Day Bag’, a line of bags that can be carried as a handbag, a tote and even as a backpack.
This is enabled by an extra adjustable strap that is long enough to become a sling handle and can be divided into two to transform it into a backpack.
The US-based start-up claims that the All Day Bag is made of premium leather which is available in two variants: soft pebbled full-grain leather or structured croc print full-grain leather.
The bag has ample space to carry the daily necessities. The bag can easily fit a 13-inch laptop and has a variety of dedicated pockets for a water bottle, pens, lipsticks and much more, all secured by a magnetic flap.
The pebbled full-grain leather version is available in fun colours including red, tan, black and white which is priced at an early bird price of US $ 319, while the croc print full-grain leather is available in black only which is tagged at US $ 349 as an early bird rate.
Wool & Oak is run by a husband-wife duo Jonathan and Gizem Webster. Their kickstarter campaign ends in April 2020 while already having surpassed their initial goal of US $ 60,000. They have raised US $ 347,843 so far and will begin shipment by September this year.
