British fashion and lifestyle retailer White Stuff has reported a standout year, achieving double-digit sales growth and attracting a record number of new customers — a sign that its ongoing transformation strategy is delivering results.
For the 52 weeks ending 29th March 2025, the company’s sales rose 20.3% to US $ 234 million, up from US $ 195 million in the previous year.
Managing Director Tracey Verghese said the performance underscored the success of the brand’s transformation efforts, noting that despite external challenges, White Stuff had achieved a robust year. She stated that it had been “another strong year for White Stuff, with double-digit sales growth,” adding that the results “demonstrate that the company’s focus on transforming the brand is working.”
The growth was driven by White Stuff’s renewed focus on customer preferences, offering thoughtfully designed pieces with distinctive details, high quality, and sustainable fabrics. The retailer reported a 41% rise in new customers over the year, supported by increased brand awareness initiatives and the opening of six new stores in Liverpool, Ashford, Teesside, Saffron Walden, Dartmouth, and London Gatwick.
In addition, the company has invested in in-store service improvements and technology upgrades, including mobile payment systems and enhanced stock management tools, to improve both online and physical retail experiences.
Following its October 2024 acquisition by TFG London, integration efforts are progressing smoothly, providing White Stuff with access to a larger operational platform while preserving its creative independence.
Looking ahead, Verghese noted that the company would continue to prioritise growth across all channels, product innovation, and customer experience enhancements, while maintaining a disciplined approach to cost management.
White Stuff currently operates 116 shops and 49 concessions in the UK, along with six shops and 13 concessions in Europe, and sells internationally through its website and 606 wholesale stockists worldwide.
