Greg Unis will take over as brand president for Victoria’s Secret and Pink, according to a statement released by Victoria’s Secret & Co. Former Torrid executive Anne Stephenson will take over as the organization’s new chief merchandising officer in July.
According to the statement from the firm, Stephenson will answer to Unis. CEO Martin Waters will continue to receive reports from Unis.
Unis, a 2016 company hire, will be in charge of the brands’ design, merchandising, creative, planning, strategic patterning, and business development.
Unis was in charge of the over $1 billion Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Victoria’s Secret accessories, and Pink Beauty businesses as the former CEO of Victoria’s Secret Beauty. Most recently, Unis held the position of chief growth officer for the organisation, where he oversaw teams in charge of new business development, international expansion, real estate, and retail design and construction, among other duties.
For Coach, Unis formerly held the positions of executive vice president and worldwide head of men’s and licencing merchandising. Additionally, he held executive positions at Gap Inc. and Brooks Brothers.
Unis’s merchant vision and deep knowledge make him “the right person to guide us to further success,” Waters said.
Stephenson most recently served as chief merchant at Full Beauty Brands and Torrid after previously working for Victoria’s Secret. Next month, Stephenson will return to the business.
