Victoria Beckham Holdings, the parent firm of Victoria Beckham’s fashion label, has, reportedly, brought down its pre-tax losses in 2020 to £8.7 million from £16.6 million a year before.
The company has attributed the reduction in pre-tax losses to cost cutting measures in addition to online sales all through the pandemic period.
The Group sales in 2020 slumped by 6 per cent to post £36.1 million. Notably, retail prices for fashion range from £290 for a denim shirt to £1,850 for a floral trench coat.
The year also witnessed the company tighten its expenditure in several areas that also included fabrics, freight and IT contracts.
The firm’s beauty segment, meanwhile, reported £7.3 million in sales.
Since launching her womenswear line in 2008 with a range of easy dresses and slim separates, Victoria Beckham has grown the brand into a global fashion label that also includes shoes and handbags.
