US apparel and accessories brand True Religion has said that it has made a licensing deal with Concept One Accessories and Capelli/Ballet, which are divisions of the GMA Group.
The agreement includes women’s, men’s, and children’s cold weather accessories and fashion headwear – not to mention small leather goods and hair accessories.
It’s the first time True Religion has brought the full power of its Group to a brand license opportunity.
Further on the same, Sam Hafif, President and CEO, Concept One, said that with True Religion, it sees an opportunity to generate US $ 50 million to US $ 75 million in retail sales across all its product categories.
As a part of the deal, the design and creative execution for accessories will be led by the brand’s creative director Zihaad Wells. Notably, the maiden collection will hit the stores by August 2022.
The GMA Group has over US $ 1.2 billion in retail sales, across 12 categories of merchandise, available at most large retail chains in North America and Europe.
True Religion Brand Jeans, founded in 2022, uses premium denim, some of which is made in the US.
