
Nike is the first partner of Urban Outfitters’ new “On Rotation” retail experience, which aims to foster creativity, connection, and discovery through a carefully chosen selection of intriguing brands.
With a cross-divisional collection of Nike clothing and shoes designed especially for Urban Outfitters customers, On Rotation will make its premiere with lounge-style installations in Manhattan Beach, California, New York, Washington, D.C., Scottsdale, Arizona, and San Diego. In addition to launching On Rotation in these stores, Urban Outfitters has increased the number of Nike products it offers online and in-store to over 150.
With the launching of a limited capsule to commemorate the Nike After Dark Tour: Los Angeles 13.1, a race on June 7 that combines sport and self-expression, the retailer will also capitalise on the city’s running culture in Los Angeles.
All LA store locations, including the one where the On Rotation installation is being held, will carry the collection, which includes a special colourway for the Nike Vomero 18 running shoe. In order to create excitement and draw attention to Nike’s presence at Urban Outfitters, the company has teamed up with over 20 influencers and college-aged community members for a four-month training adventure leading up to the event.
