
For the sixth consecutive year, Teijin, a company offering high-performance fibres has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia/Pacific Index (DJSI Asia/Pacific), a global benchmark for socially responsible investing. DJSI is an index of sustainability as it assesses some 3300 companies on the parameters of their environmental, economic and social performance; and sustainability leadership. Out of 600, only 148 firms were selected for this year’s index and Teijin was one of the five Japanese companies in the chemical industry.
