Less than two years after closing all of its stores due to its failure, fashion brand Ted Baker is apparently getting ready to make a comeback to the UK high street. Although no specifics have been revealed, the company intends to open a new store in London in early 2026.
It would be Ted Baker’s first physical store in the UK since No Ordinary Designer Label (NODL), the store operator, was taken over in March 2024.
The company employed close to 1,000 people and had 46 standalone locations in the UK during its height. August 2024 saw the last store closures as well as withdrawals from areas like the Netherlands and North America.
Since then, Ted Baker has been rebuilt by parent business Authentic Brands Group (ABG) using a network of outside alliances.
Under the direction of former Barbour MD Ryan Llewellyn-Pace, Pace Partnership London (PPL) currently runs its wholesale business in the UK and Europe.
As part of a five-year agreement, PDS Group-owned New Lobster continues to manage design, development, and production worldwide, while PPL is in charge of Ted Baker brand sales and marketing.
To support the relaunch, Llewellyn-Pace has enlisted a number of former Barbour coworkers, including senior executives in business development, sales, and marketing.
