
Target has announced that it will start featuring some Shopify merchants on Target Plus, its 3rd party digital marketplace. Additionally, Target plans to begin some of these merchants’ items in its physical stores in the upcoming months, as shared in a press release.
Cara Sylvester, Target’s executive VP and chief guest experience officer, underlined the expansion, “Our association with Shopify widens the variety of thoughtfully designed, reasonably priced items available for identification and enjoyment within Target’s unique brand mix.”
Target Plus, opened in 2019, presently displays over 2 million products from more than 1,200 partners chosen by Target’s curation specialists. This marketplace permits Target to provide consumers stylish, premium, or D2C brands besides its own product lineup.
Customers can easily buy these brands via the Target Plus website, profiting from features like free shipping on orders more than US $ 35 and free returns, as per the release. United States Shopify merchants can apply to sell on Target Plus utllising Shopify’s Marketplace Connect app, allowing them to administer orders across numerous marketplaces.
