London-based women’s activewear brand Sweaty Betty announced it will return as the official apparel partner of the Royal Parks Half Marathon which is scheduled to take place on 8th October 2023.
Sweaty Betty aims to empower women by promoting an active and healthy lifestyle which aligns with the mission of Royal Parks Half Marathon to focus on inclusivity and diversity by allowing a space for participants of all abilities. In the previous year, the marathon witnessed 52 percent participation by female runners, surpassing the male majority.
The marathon is expecting more than 16,000 runners in the race in which the 13.2 mile will cover Green Park, St James’s Park, Kensington Gardens and finishing at Hyde Park.
Liz Tack, Head of Royal Parks Half Marathon, stated, “We are delighted to welcome Sweaty Betty as our official apparel partner for our 16th annual race. For the second year running, they will bring their unique energy to the event and participants will be able to enjoy a warm-up and cool-down in the event village led by Sweaty Betty and their expert team. The countdown is well and truly on until the 8th of October and I can’t wait to cheer on all those taking part.”
