
London-based women’s activewear retailer Sweaty Betty has announced the integration of PTC FlexPLM retail product lifecycle management (PLM) solution to streamline its business process.
The decision follows the increase in demand for athleisure from consumers. Consequently, a strong cloud-based PLM solution like PTC FlexPLM would now help retailer increase transparency within its processes.
The solution has helped the retailer maintain single version of truth of product data and other processes across merchandising, design and buying, as well as global suppliers.
The cloud-based solution also allows them to automate, control and organise all the change request, plans and changes to the product in real time.
The solution will also help the retailers grow e-commerce operations. It was implemented remotely by ITC Infotech during the COVID-19 pandemic, which helped the retailer reduce total cost of ownership and resource impact on the internal IT department.
Furthermore, the solution helps with real time information of the product-related data, improve automation and helps in planning the future season.
