With a specifically strong performance in online business, Sweaty Betty saw strong growth in the last one year. The brand is now looking to expand its international footprint and grow its online business even further.
Despite closing stores during the year, the sportswear brand saw a 45 per cent increase in turnover to 183.2 million pounds, up from 126.5 million pounds a year earlier largely due to propelling growth across its digital channels.
The company posted a profit of 11.5 million pounds for the year compared to 11 million pounds the prior year.
Sweaty Betty was bought by US fashion group Wolverine World Wide last year for approximately US $ 410 million.
