Louise Couch is the new chief financial officer (CFO) of Cornwall-based British apparel and lifestyle firm Seasalt.
Couch will join Seasalt’s executive board and contribute “a wealth of valuable industry experience gained through working with fast-paced consumer and tech businesses,” according to a statement from Seasalt.
In her capacity as CFO, Couch will oversee the company’s financial decision-making, direct the creation and implementation of the brand’s overarching business plan, and support Seasalt’s international growth.
Couch most recently worked for Peloton Interactive for three years as the senior director of worldwide financial planning and analysis. She had previously held prominent positions in investment banking at JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley, where she concentrated on the retail industry. She will answer directly to Paul Hayes, the chief executive officer of Seasalt.
“I’m delighted to welcome Louise to Seasalt,” Hayes stated in response to the appointment. “Our senior leadership team has been significantly strengthened by her hiring.”
Couch continued, saying, “I’m thrilled to be joining the Seasalt team and taking on this opportunity at a very exciting time in the brand’s domestic and international expansion.”
